Anything larger would have to be discussed.

Most portraits are have ratios of about 2:3 or 3:4, but they can be any size. Odd sizes can be requested, but will be charged extra for labor if they have to be custom made.

I work on canvas, but wood panel is an option. Panel gets heavy when it gets larger.

I like to paint from life as much as I can, so sittings can be arranged for people portraits.

Pets would most likely be done from photo, although quick sketches done from life can be helpful.

I like to take photos myself of the subject. This is to control lighting and photo quality. If it is not possible, I need to approve all photos before beginning the painting.
